    'K.M.' EKII with hanger device...

I won this cross off of the US ebay and wanted to ask the forum members if the pin that's attached at the end of its ribbon is a period hanger device.

The flanges of the frame look wide but it measures 43.7mm wide.

    All opinions welcome, please.

All 1914 EK2s were (supposedly) issued with a 33.3cm length of ribbon, a safety pin, and a Packet. This isn't the type of pin I'm used to seeing on issue sets, but that doesn't mean much because I've never studied the different types of safety pins that may have come in the sets.

The cross is a nice KMST with their own proprietary core that I've never seen another maker use. Was also used on their EK1s:

Yes, I know the type of safety pin you're referring to, a blackened safety pin. I have one on another ribbon/cross.

Well, I'm happy to know it's a KMST. Thank you very much!

          VERY nice EKI, Trevor.

            Nice find Robert.
KMST ek2s are not all that common.

              Thanks Greg,

It was pure luck, believe me.
