    Unknown Medal

    hi,

    anybody got any idea about this medal?

    it has the inscription "Altona 9.1.40" on the rear.

    came with a mix of ww1 and ww2 german items.

    The ribbon looks to be from the Brit/Cdn etc. Victory Medal. As for the attached medal I haven't a clue
