EK II "Nichtkämpfer" maker "M" for review

I show you my new capture, this EK has a core of type L in my opinion, the ring is marked "M", I think it could be a wartime production of BH Mayer.
    The measurements are: 43mm x 42,7 mm, weight: 18.4 g
    Await your opinions
    Best Regards Alex

The ribbon is bad, sorry. So it is not a Nichtkämpfer cross.

Nice original BH Mayer on a postwar (fake) ribbon.
      Best regards,

Thanks for your observation, each element of evaluation is very important to me.
In my assessment on the ribbon, I realize that in the picture appears very bright,
        the following parameters:
13 ribs per cm, Both looped edges, UV negativ.

Additional parameters of observation will be greatly appreciated by me and important for the future.
        Thanks Alex

            Hi Alex,

The dimensions of the stripes are not very important since they varied a lot -- over time and by manufacturer. Also, fakers copy these dimensions easily.

Can you please show the other edge of the ribbon in closeup also?

Other tests I would perform are the burn test, and the blacklight test.
            Best regards,
            Streptile

                Blacklight test is senseless.

You can get also UV negative ribbons which were new one`s .

As i wrote many times bevor: Buy a bar with it, or try to find a single parade mounted
                bar.

It needs time, but you can find one for sure...

Any that is why you have these nasty looking loops on the other side.

Thank me now everything is clear!
you're right, a picture is worth a thousand words!
I made a comparison with another ribbon "Nichtkämpfer" and actually post you will notice the difference.

Ribbon is a modern copy for sure.
90% of the original ribbons have a creamy white colour.
At least the cross is good
