    Kanone MORSER metal model on the base (model WW1)

    Hello to all,
    I place this metal model cannon Morser on marble base. The model has numerous moving parts and mechanical mechanisms. Name plate missing.
    Measurements of maximum:
    cm.28x12x28cm.
    weight about 7/8 kg.
    I ask of you my opinions on this my recent discovery.
    The model has a lot of dust, but you see a black color over a metallic material color brass or bronze.

                        These are very nice. I too have seen a number of them. They were given out as gifts. Yours is missing the name plate. This is an Austrian Skoda gun. Very impressive.

                          It's a model of the Austrian Skoda 30,5cm. mortar: the standard heavy artillery piece of the imperial Army.

                          This model was produced on behalf of the Kriegsfürsorge for fund-raising.

                          Usually, on the stone base there was a plate with description of the weapon and/or the name of the buyer as a dedication from the said Kriegsfürsorge.

                          A very fine piece indeed.
