    About EK...

    Hi Everyone!

I just have a question. If I remember the Knight's Crosses were issued only in WWII. Right? And it had not had an imperial precursor. Right? Well I found an auction with copy of that but an Imperial. So if it's true, the seller have nice imagination . Right?

    I think I understand that....

    What auction....where?......

While there was no Imperial precursor in terms of award status, there were Imperial Grand Crosses of the Iron Cross which of course physically resembled the 1939 KC's.

I think you'll have to post a picture or a link......

It's a copy of the 1914 Grand Cross.

It's not a precursor to the Knights Cross because there was a 1939 Grand Cross.
