    Junker/Serif J or not

    Hi,

Can someone explain to me the difference on the WWI Prussian aviation badges manufactured by Junker that have a "serif" on the J and the ones that don't have the serif. (post war?? wartime? fake?)

    Thanks.

    Uh-Oh!

Well, there's 2 schools of thought:

Part A) Any Juncker badge with the serif is a modern reproduction a/k/a fake.

Part B) that these are acceptable, just as badges with crowns are acceptable.

So, i would suggest an "advanced search" inside this forum using "Juncker" and "Pilot Badge" as the key words and you'll get a monitor-full of the debate!
