Please can anyone say if this is right? Both plate and cross have 800 stamped. I guess its a modern creation...

Maybe. Before I judge I would like to see the soldering lines, front side and how the back looks without the back-plate.

Yes of course.... It looks to clean I would say.

I think it is a KO core namely this one (see below). Based on that core I would say it is a Frankenstein, a newly put together cross.

Someone went to the trouble of trying to replicate the look of
the original style wing nuts but they missed the mark.
