    Türkei Clasp on EK II

Has anyone seen a TÜRKEI clasp on a EK II bar like this before? I am wondering if they were ever officially issued?

Clasps on the EK2 are typically unofficial ones and are private purchase items. All the real ones I have seen were silver (800) and had a fancy border. I have never seen ones like those that you show here.

Thank you Don, If the other campaign clasps look funny, then the Turkish one is not good as well, maybe it is a fantasy piece.

Too good to be true anyways...

And also I have never seen country names on campaign clasps, as the name suggest they are named after the campaign title or the name of the battle or at least the geographical area where that famous battle had taken place, not a country as a whole, no ?

Countries names can be found on genuine battle bars, such as Belgien. The clasps on the EK resemble the ones made by Timm but lack the fancy border.

There were a number of postwar "veteran's" medals that had their own distinctive campaign, battle, or "Feindesland" country bars. The bars shown here fall somewhere in that category and, of course, have noting to do with the EK.

However, the mentioned ones are as inofficial, and there were no "real" clasps to the EK. Still, I do like the medal bar. Never forget, in those days, they did what they felt like...

Thank you guys for your precious and wise comments, but I kept a cold hand and refrained from buying it somehow. But at least I learned a little about campaign clasps for future reference. Just as many other subjects concerning the Imperial collector, campaign clasp issue is almost like an X-File if the collector can not read German and can't read some of the scarce reference materials on this.

Which makes the the help of the imperial collectors imperative, who always comment and try to help us on this forum. Thank you all wise guys.
