Hi guys,
I wanted to take a moment and share my early silver S&L Pour le Mérite. Interestingly this one features a different suspension loop than typical later S&L PLM's. It's marked with the crescent moon & crown mark. It's silver content is 938. This I guess would point it towards the imperial time frame. I'm aware that usually S&L pieces are post 1945. I'm not sure how early exactly this one really is.
The ribbon is an old one, sewn up in an interesting way.
What is your opinion on this PLM ?
Best regards,
Alex
