Would like your views on this one. Went through some old threads and do not think it is the 9th Bead fake,Muffin Crown,over and under 8 or the bad crown fake.
Your opinions would be appreciated

Well I hoped for the 1870 ek style on the lid...

However note that the ek2 has the U notch in the reverse frame and the small ring goes through it. Nice!

Nice set.
The cross is a good type A cross. One of two different
crown designs that we see.

The think the case is a good one also but I have very
little knowledge of cases. The nail head push pin is right
for a 1870, early 1914 case.

That is excellent news-Need to sell it as I need the money but didn't want to sell a dud.
Many thanks for your valued help. I also feel I have learned a lot about 1870 EK2 following all the threads I went through yesterday.
