But some days ago I've got a nice one piece EK and I want to share it with you.

Maybe it is not in excellent condition, but I love it

Btw isn't it a "pumpkin crown" version?

in my opinion this is cast from an original, and not linked to one piece ek makers. But the again I could be wrong...

are you sure its not a 3 peace ? ,,,,,,I would almost say it is.

Doesn't look 3 piece to me. I had a cast piece slanted W once and it looked 3 piece, but it was just a good cast...

Also metal of the "frame" and "core" look the same, as seen on the obverse ground trace.

It is surely a one piece cross. Indeed it looks like a cast piece, but anyway it looks like a period made for me (very thick patina layer).

Do you think it may be a modern made piece?

To me it looks like it was filed to give the appearance of wear on a medal bar from a medal next to it causing the wear
