    WWI Stein for Review

    All,

I have had this for a few years and never had it checked out. I picked this one up with a couple other ones. Looking for opinions on it as it is not my normal area of collecting. Thank you.

Looks like some of the red has bleed. Not sure if this is normal or not.

        Very nice, original stein,

7th Bavarian IR battle record is worth a read

101% correct in every way and now over 100 years old.

A a slightly rare feature of this stein is the fact that they are waering the field grey covers on their Pickelhaubes. You see that on the odd stein or two but not often.

        Thanks for showing,

        Chris

p.s. is their still a "stanhope" picture of the garrison or town in the thumb-lift lion glass eye ? Hold it up to the light peer through it and have a look.

          90th Light,

Thank you very much for the feedback. To answer your question the "stanhope" picture is still there. I had no idea that was there. Very cool. It has a picture of building and says BAYREUTH I.B. FESTSPIELHAUS underneath. I do have a question was this normal for steins since the other two I have do not have this detail. Thanks.
