Yes, I had forgotten his role as Hauptmann Stransky, he was good in that also, one of my favourite war films.

A great actor like Maximillian Schell passes and no one notices. Some other actor dies with a needle in his arm and its all over the net with boo hoo's from everyone Judgement at Nuremberg, Man in the Glass Booth, and of course The Black Hole. Enjoyed all of his films

WW2 ,Nazi symbols mystification films are not my thing .

that film especially contributed a lot to the general misinterpretation that the iron cross in general would be a exclusive Nazi symbol alone.

so strong even ,that even pure imperial Iron cross collectors will be mistaken and seen as a regular Nazi sympathetic outcast .

There is - I started it, but someone started one independently on here for some reason. If you find it that offensive either stop contributing towards it or complain to a Mod to have it removed. If you keep on complaining I am going to keep posting and keep it here - your call
