    Help wanted indentifying Medal bar

    Hello,

I got this Kriegsmarine tunic which apperently has WW1 medals on the medal bar. Knowing very little about Kriegsmarine and even less about ww1 marine. I would like your help to indentify these medals?

For all pictures see original thread:

    IMO it is a leutnant?
    Thx for the help

Was it a marine custom to wear WW1 decorations on a WW2 uniform?
Why did they receive decorations from different german regions?
Would it have been realistic to presume this man had all these different medals?
      thx for the advice

I do not believe that the ribbon bar goes with the tunic. It is not a typical WWI Navy ribbon bar. The ribbon bar is of the Bavarian type with Bavarian awards on it.

The name on the tunic is Ranst. There was a paymaster with that name in the Imperial German Navy but he did not have those awards.
