    9 place medal bar non-combatant

I could get this nice piece for my imperial collection.

-Iron cross 3part magnetic standard piece on non combatant ribbon
-war aid cross standard piece made of ansonit
-crown order medal (version till beginning of 1918)
-long service cross for 15 years
-southwest african commemorative medal for non combatants
    -centenial medal 1897
-oldenburg FA-cross on combatant ribbon - standard piece made of darkenend iron
-brunswick war merit cross on ribbon for non combatants
-brunswick silver merit medal houseorder heinrichs des löwen

may be the crown order and the centenial medal were replaced there are black stiches of black jarn on the top of the ribbon. (for holding the medal under the ribbon)
---> it could be possible, that there was a crown order 4th class.

the silver merit medal was only awarded ~ 1800 times.

i think it was an prussian military official ("mittlerer Beamter") (not higher than a Feldwebel because of the crown order medal)

As you see on the back, first the bar had 8 decorations; later there was one
added (may be the long service cross ---> mostly awarded again after Nov. 1918)

I don`t know if it`s possible to ID...

Thanks to a collector`s friend for his help to get the bar

As an NCO bar I doubt an ID will be possible. Still a beautiful bar.

        Wow staggering bar.

Is it possible to make an overview of your bars in one shot, I guess you have accumulated some very nice things!

        Best regards,
        Michel

Outstanding medal bar! There's a list of Crown Order recipients and I think a partial list of the Brunswick HO.

Dave Danner? Might be able to help.

Makes me think navy official or Imperial Yaucht.......

I only have the Henry the Lion rolls down to the 4th Class. It would have been too expensive for me to get copies of the crosses and medals (the rolls were in large type and detailed, with only 20 names per page. At least they exist, though, so better than the Kriegsverdienstkreuz, since there is no master roll and some 75% of the award recommendation files seem to be lost.

I don't have anything on the Crown Order Medal.

Regarding the stitching, if the PrVfK was added ahead of the Crown Order Medal when the bar was lengthened, that might be why the medals had to be resewn.

                    May be he was it:

Golaszewski Rechnungsrat, geboren 1854, Eintritt: 1875
Verstorben 1924. während des Krieges bei Stv. Intendantur X. Armeekorps

                    -EK2w
                    -KO4
                    -25er DA Kreuz
                    -SW Afrikadenkmünze
                    -Braunschweiger KVK 2. Klasse
                    -Oldenburger FA Kreuz 2. Klasse
-BRH4 (Heinrich der Löwe Ritter 4. Klasse)

The KO4 and the BRH4 had to return to the GOK - may be later they were replaced
with Crown order medal/and brunswick medal. May be the XV long service cross was replaced too...

The Centenialmedal is not listed at the 1929 intendantur beamten list.

                    A big question...

That seems like it might be a possibility. However, his BrH4 is not in the Verzeichnis of returned decorations, which goes through 1945. So if they were removed, it probably was not to return them.
