Unknown gas mask canister - help -

1 year ago I got this gas mask canister as a gift, but i cant indentify.




Thin sheet material, it could be easily flatten if i would step on it.

The color is gray-green, on the bottom is the only stamp: BFOK

2-2 tabs on each side for the shoulder strap.

It is looks like the WWI german case, but is is taller (24 cm).

It looks like it could be a version of the can used for the "A.m.E. Gerät", driver's gas "mask".

I measured my example and it was 24.5cm tall. Mine has a friction lid and the side brackets are more similar to those on a normal gas mask can. It is also smooth all the way down the body, whereas yours has a ridge.
