          Extremely nice chain.
It's been a long time sense we have seen a chain
          like that posted.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

A very fine miniature chain, I congratulate.

I find interesting the imperial Austrian Militärverdienstkreuz III Class with KD: the German jeweller made a miniature after a very early type, from 1859-'60, when the decoration was first white enamelled (the 1849 type had the red enamel only), and still retaining that tiny detail of the line-dot-line under the "VER/DIENST" motto, disappeared from 1860 onwards.

            All the best,

            Enzo

Nice to see Gothic type of Godet button on chain with Hindenburg cross again. Another proof that this button was used well after 1934. Another interesting thing - guys are still "Königlische Hofjuweliere".

Very fine chain I bid on this one too, but as far as I knew it did not sell. Congrats on a good find.
                Best regards,

A very nice chain, whose original owner - if it's not messed with - might even be idetifiable.

                  The combination looks unique enough...

Hi Sascha, thank you for the reply
Also want to add that the chain is in gold. It has a gold mark on the pin.
I first thought it was silver or messing.

Wow! Gold is quite unusual for a mid-1930s group. Seems he had the money...

A beautiful piece and a more exciting box! I have a similar gothic button chain from Godet. I know the chains are different and mine won't be gold, but on your pin where is the gold mark and what does it say?

                          Hi Tan,

it's marked 585 on the needle.
Tried to make a picture of it.
                          Not the most easy task

Thank you so much for your prompt reply!!

I think you have done a great job, I know how tricky it gets when you try to make a photo of such a small thing. I have compared with my Godet chain but unfortunately there is no way that mine is gold as well

                            Thank you again
