                    Well Kay,

That is something completely different, everyone else has said it all already so I am just going to leave it at that and go back to enjoying the pictures

                    Thanks for sharing.

                      thanks ,,

I can not help notice that the details of old coins go far beyond anything we see these day's on coins ..

a Euro is a laugh compared against the craftsmanship of 1800/1900 coins

ps ,,I even found a better one few day's earlier,,,,(1870 /1890 etui research so to speak )

so ,, that one will be shown to,,,,,,,,,, wen it arrives..

glad you all like it ..

                      regards kay

I agree with all of the above.... the detail is excellent a very crisp striking. Is this a medal with the ring and ribbon missing? If yes what would the ribbon look like?

                            I have no idea ...

I was going fore the 100% striking , mold carving artist named on it ,,and the beautiful engravings ..

                            it came like this ,,

collars of the organization ,city collars, royal collars ,,mostly used in such decorations and they're ribbons ,,,

if there was a ribbon at all .... maybe it was a part of a chain ,, who knows

                            regards kay
