Hermann BRINKHAUS (born 1894, in the navy 1913-23) was promoted OLt 7 January 1920, after serving as a watch officer on U-82. He was discharged as a char. Kapitänleutnant aD.

He served during WW2 as Korvettenkapitän dR and was still alive in 1963.
