Can anyone make out from the photos if this cross is a period item? It can be from WW1 or WW2 or a modern copy, please help.

The cross is a good period KO marked cross. The TWM is a fake.

The wound badge and DRA sports badge are good. I am not familiar with the center badge.

all items are period IMO, the Gallipoli star has a replacement pin which is reminiscent of many fake Imperial and Third Reich badges currently around

Thank you Patrick, thats how I feel, not being the prettiest type but the front of the TWM looks okay to me as well. It is mentioned that the family had the box made after the recipient had deceased. TWM might have been repaired as well.

Sorry but that TWM is one of the current fakes that are making the rounds.

Here is a picture of the obverse of the fake TWM that the seller has married to this grouping.

And here is another TWM the seller is selling separately, one that I suspect actually belongs to the grouping, an unmarked AWS perhaps with a replaced pin.

Don, thanks to you I saved some money from this purchase. I cancelled my bids. It is funny that he sells the original item separately.

He has a Turkish Pilot's Badge, do you have any ideas on that?
