I think this 'swastika thing' might be a case of mistaken identity due to the members handle- there was a member here with those tendencies (DaveNZ) who is of course long gone.
As for the price of the medal- not that it is anyone else's business but- being the new lucky owner of this decoration I can only report that Mike made this award available to me for well below of what he paid himself which says a lot about the man. It was a collector to collector transaction and I am happy with the outcome.
I can only hope that I get to repay the favor one day.
