Its a cavalry helmet (Ulanen Tschapka) Germany ww1. I'm not sure all parts are original . So its hard to tell you what's the right offer.

Paul it is an OR helmet for a Prussian Uhlan. I'm not a Uhlan guy, There are many on the pickelhaubes forum. However, This one seems to be missing several parts and I can't see others. Does it have chinscales? Are there pictures of the back of the plate and how it is attached? Field badge? I know this doesn't help but too many questions.

Model 1915 Prussian Uhlan Tschapka. Looks good and original to me except that it is a bit tired. The mortar board top should twist off. Current price could be as high as $500 retail. Ebay $700.

Do you know where I can get Tscapka like that? Ebay's price is sometimes beyond belief, a relic could reach an impossible price.
