Question about EK1 Maker Rothe und Neffe

I`ve got a question about Rothe und Neffe crosses.Is it fact that the have produced iron crosses during the wartime period?I didn`t find anything about that in the web.Well,I've got Previtera's book,but the pics in it are not the kind I would like to see.The prinzen he shows is a Maybauer,and the two crosses in the double case...better pics would be helpful.I've looked at several forums in the web,but all I got where Maybauer crosses in the same kind like the one I own.I hope somebody can bring up a little light.......

I do not have pics, but I can say the this company did make EKs during WWI. I hd one serveral years ago and I have seen another.
