Hi,
OK, within about 2 seconds of posting the Wurttemberg ribbon bar thread, I had a PM from a certain EK collector. To save him a flight downunder, I thought I better post him some images
So, first up some scans of the unmarked KMST EK1 screwback. This brings the number of my KMST EK1 variants to 4 - still two more fully marked types to get hold of though! The reverse of the cross is unmarked but the screwdisk has the KM incuse relief and stamped 800 markings found on some marked KMST DRGM crosses. The core on this unmarked example is an exact match to my fully marked examples. One of the rings soldered onto the scewdisk is also 800 stamped.
Also included in the images to follow are some other recent arrivals (which I wouldn't normally post), including;
- a Silver Naval Wound badge - stamped iron, quite highly vaulted,
- a prinzen Oldenburg FA1x - pity about the old pin replacement (I thought this was normal size from the seller's image!),
- a pinback EK1 - silver plated brass (3-piece construction). The brass core has been silver plated and then painted/enameled black. The top edge of the beading has been polished to a gold colour. Unusual but very attractive.
- fyi, the EK2 is an early S-W with what appears to be cast iron core and very neatly finished top lug for the soldered on loop.
- the shoulderboards are my first Imperial examples!
Regards
