Italian Order of The Crown

hello all, I haven't ever been into Italian Medlas but I saw this one and picked it up... certainly looks nice to me. Any idea on how to tell what period these were made? My research shows it could be from 1868 - 1983... This one is supposed to be WWI era.

Hello,

your Knight's Cross of the "Ordine della Corona d'Italia" can be dated between 1910 and 1930.

Its appearance allows me to presume that this cross is made in gold.

Beautiful medal Scott! I have the entire set here, from Knight's Cross up to Grand Cross!

1986? As far as I am aware the awarding of this order ended in 1946 with the monarchy.
