Strange EK2 for review

I recently obtained this EK2, but have never seen anything like it. It is smaller than the normal size, but slightly larger than Prinzen. It is also much thinnner and apparently made from one piece? What its it?

Hmmm. Very interesting. Mine has the die flaws on the beeded edge to the reverse only. The black background has very fine pebbling and the detail of the crown etc. is excellent. It fairly weighty as well.
It also has a wider than usual watered ribbon which I failed to show.
There must be another explanation for this other than just propaganda purposes.
