    Cased EK2

Here is a cased EK2 I picked up from a friend many years ago in Germany. He had gotten it from a family through a want ad, though he had no name to go with it. Not sure if the case was originally one for an EK or one that the veteran or a jeweler modified to hold one. The EK is not marked on the large ring, but the small ring is marked with what appears to be either an S or a 2.

Dale, can't really pass judgement on the case (not my field) how ever another nice looking example of the 1914 EK2, quite possibly an "R" cross

I agree; looks like an R EK2 and I'd be happy with the case. These were all privately purchased and vary enormously in style.
              Best regards,

                Hello,
Just searching through some old threads on EKs to compare with some I just purchased and realized I never said thank you to Trevor and Scott for helping with the maker of this cross. Thank you guys. Better late than never!
