    translation needed.

I recieved a picture postcard in the mail today that I need translated. I can read part of it like the place: Koenigsbruek, the date 25 Feb 1919 and the greeting My love Frida (hhhmmmm) . I can even read were a seller wrote 3 euros on it but that is about it. If someone will translate it for me I will show the front which I promise has something you don't see every day.
    thanks

    Hello Don.

    Text translation:
Now how are you doing there with your relatives ? I returned in fair shape on Monday but was quite done in.
Otherwise everything is unchanged except we received bad rainy weather.
Cannot think of anything else but remain with heartfelt greetings and kisses always and forever your loving Fritz.
    Hearty greetings for ???

Thank you for the translation and now for the front. I bought this because of the badge two of these guys are wearing.

        The Machinegunners Sharpshooters Badge.

I'm studying this badge at the moment and hopefully I'll be able to ID an original soon.

            Correction

            Lieber Daniel;

Deine Deutsch ist nicht schlecht, es ist deine Kopf.

It that vein, my father spent most of 1917 in hospitals due to a wound on Dead Man's Hill on 28. 12. 16. After the war, he was visiting some nurses from one of the hospitals, some volunteer society ladies, and having coffee and cake at one of their homes, when one of them said: "Georg, you must tell us something. We have been wondering all this time." They then recounted how late at night a nurse touring the hospital had found a patient who had lost both legs lying on a pool table in a rec room far from his bed. He was gotten back to bed, with difficulty, and the nurses never found out how or why he had gotten there, despite their best efforts and inflamed curiosity.

Pop told them, and one of the society ladies started to laugh so hard she spit coffee and cake over my father, to her extreme embarrassment. Pop had explained that the soldier had been carried to the pool-table by several ambulatory patients, and the soldier's girl-friend had been smuggled in, in order to allow them to have a tryst; when the nurse approached, everyone ran away, but the soldier could not be gotten away.

Thought of an even racier hospital anecdote, but even I must observe some limits.

              Hello Don.

              Have a look at www.weitze.net
              Article Numbers 30100; 26817 and 51752 .
For Daniel: Deutsche Sprache-schwere Sprache . And I am glad I did not have to learn it as a second language , much preferred that to be English ( if not the King's English ). I have another reply for you under Wanted category.
