I have just finished the book For King and Kaiser! about the Prussian Officer Corps. In it, several references were made to the Bavarian Army and Officer Corps. Is there a comparable work regarding the Bavarians?

No
Short answer: No, not in the same sort of very readable format. The closest books to K&K are:
Hartmann, John: Das Reserveoffizierkorps im deutschen kaizerreich, 1890-1914. und
Large, David Clay: The Politics of Law and Order: A History of the Bavarian Einwohner:1918-1921: Transactions of the American Philisophical Society 70,#2 (1980).
Also, for the really esoteric:" Konservative Wehrverbande in Bayern,Preussen und Osterreich,1918-1933 " by Horst Nusser.
Lastly, Bernd. Steger's "Berufssoldaten oder Pratorianerie Einflussnahme des Bayerische Offizerkorps auf die Innenpolitik in Bayern und im Reich:1918-1924 " (1980).
Thats' all I have. There are a bunch of general histories on the German (entire) imperial officer corps though and a lot on the navy too.
Cheers,
JeMc
