More Imperial Boards From Hannibal's Collection

Here is an older pair of Hohenzollern Foot Artillery Regiment 13 Major's boards: note the two black and red Vs as distinct from the half on each side for Württemberg, and the black across from white and red twist of the navy and Schutztruppen.

This style of "fat" braiding I associate with the pre-1905 period, but can anyone narrow that down further?

Here are the bottoms. White was Foot Artillery branch color until 1915, when it was replaced by yellow, and crossed flaming bombs were used on Prussian units' boards.

      Wonderful!

I really appreciate your posting these beautiful boards for Hannibal. They are just marvelous. This may sound a touch odd, but I am actually (primarily) an Imperial German enlisted shoulder strap collector. The uniforms and helmets etc just grew from that. But my main interest is enlisted cloth shoulder straps and once in a while, officer's boards if they are unique, or I just like 'em.. I have an affinity for both Artillery and Württemberg, so I can especially appreciate these examples. Thanks for sharing, Tony
