Does anyone know what this object is?

There is a tank from WW1 pictured on it and below Pompelle is written on it.
It seems that something has been engraved.

It's a unique piece, not a standard one, so no firm price can be attached. Check what different trench art/patriotic pieces go for on ebay. French pieces are cheaper then german most times.
