whats your thoughta about the EK2? I think its a good Wagner.

The cross might be fine, from what one sees (pictures aren't the best ones), but I have some doubts about the bar... looks rather like a mid-1930s bar for a 1914 EK and Hindenburg cross.

this little detail you mention is interesting ,,
the bar and 1870 cross
being a 1920/30 purchased cross is absolutely proven to be possible.

Because an 1870/71 veteran would have probably added some awards in these decades, or at least one - the Prussian 1897 medal... without that, the bar is very unlikely to be untouched.
