WW1 Imperial flag?

I had one same size a friend Rick K. had one also hung in his shop for years, I was told mine was from a public building? Another former was a massive tri-colour with a large Iron Cross in the centre, must have measured 3 x 5 metres huge Lord knows what that was for had brass eyelets on the through rope. Expensive wallpaper lol!
Its difficult some were brought to the US post W2, takes an expert for years I was told 'thin cross centre' Imperial.... 'fat centre' post W1, 'maker mark label' TR then blow me down saw original W1 footage showing the fat centre cross!!!!!!
