A nice surprise with my EK1

Here's a purchase that arrived today. I was merely expecting the cross, but the sender decided to include a little something extra! Imagine my surprise after opening the parcel.....

When I opened the case, I determined that it was not an EK1 case. It is not fitted for the pin.

    I still like it, though.

          Cheers, Greg!

Nope, no markings, not even under the pin near the hinge.

It looks to me like another Wagner- it has a combination of early style pin and later style hinge, with the later 'glossy' core.

Oh, and the case is English and marked to a jeweller located in Oxford. "Watchmakers to the Admiralty".

If it wasn't for the maker's mark, I'd have accepted the case as a German-made piece. It is made the same way as our beloved EK1 cases. Kinda makes me wonder.
