Posting these for Tony-- M1915 Major of Jäger Regiment zu Pferde. Note the double underlay with the dark green used for this branch's base color. Since cavalry regiments were the size of infantry battalions, there were only FIVE officers who could have worn these boards-- and given the way they were moved around and commanded other units, doubt that all of them ever actually DID wear these.
