I assume the standard blue and white ribbon?

Yes, I think so. I think perhaps each ribbon hanging down (really one just folded behind the badge so that both ends hung down) was half blue and half white split vertically. I have never owned one of these, but have seen plenty over the years. Someone here must have one to show you. I'm just going from memory.
Here is another common Bavarian style veteran's pin. Different manufacturer and (I think) different ribbon...same general idea.
