Can you tell about this cross......like is it orig. and is it a cross made during WW1 or is it a fake.Thanks for and all help.

A nice genuine cross (wartime or 20s private purchase) by an unknown maker with a generic slant W core. Not Meybauer hardware imo.

No I did not win as I wanted a war time cross and was told by another collector that it was a private purchase cross of the 20's.I am still looking for a nice war time "KO" cross.Thanks again for all the help.

Try an "advert" in the Members Only Wanted Section (sometimes you get lucky) -- I came right with a WW1 issue "WS".

1920's ?
who ever it was,,,he gave you a questionable opinion about the year its from .

these crosses are seen on period pictures on war time soldiers often enough .

if the slanted W is a 1920's productions 50% of the crosses around are no longer genuine ./flat or vaulted
