    WWI flyer group

I picked up an unusual group at the flea market yesterday, decorations and 3 pilots badges as well as a propellor (almost did not fit into my car!).

reverse of the badges in 3 sizes. The large badge is apparently hollow.

the propellor has a chip on the tip but is otherwise complete and was defenitely used. It is marked for a 160 horsepower Mercedes motor.

the other side of the hub with makers data and the hub from the front where it was clearly bolted onto an engine. The propeller is about 2.6 meters long.

thanks for the positive comments. Now I have to research what aircraft used a 160 horsepower engine.

As for the three badges ,full-sized piece is a 1940's example ,halbgrosse piece is made by the square punch maker and the prinzen piece is possibly off a medal bar or a fob chain, all three are nice .Ferg.

Ferg, thanks for the information. I am hoping that more turns up as they are still cleaning the house (there was a bit more like iron crosses and a decoration bar but nothing spectacular)
