    Crown Order

I have Neal O'Connor's book, Aviation Awards and the Men Who Earned Them, Volume II - Prussia, but the article on the Prussian Crown Order is very brief. And there are only a couple of black and white photos.

Does anyone have any pictures of this award, in its various classes, mit schwertern, that they would be willing to share? I have good pics of the Red Eagle Order and the Cross of the Order of the House of Hohenzollern, Knight but not the Crown Order - specifically the 3rd and 4th Classes.

    Thank you for any assistance.

You only want scans WITH SWORDS, right? I don't have any...

Here's a photo of a cased, type 1 (small crown) Crown Order, Fourth Class, with Swords. Note the crown in the center of the device.

                        And don't forget!

Medal to The Prussian Order of The Crown! The medal is hard to find, impossible cased. Note the tiny blue case, as opposed to a monogrammed black one! Only one I ever found, now in a Private California Collection.

Sorry, here's a better shot of the case to the Prussian Medal to The Order of The Crown.

                              WOW!

Thank you, Rick. Those are absolutely beautiful! I didn't expect the cases, thanks. Do you mind if I download them for personal use?

The small crown was used until 1864, correct?

Is there a particular reason that one is silver?

Who made these, Godet and Wagner?
