Hello there,
now i found this one, Long searched for, Long waited for. And yet...doubt is allways there. The odd Details as allways.
Please give me your opinion about the cross i tryed to depict here in detail. The countercross is not magnetic, nor is it the nut. But i have serious doubt if the countercross is silver, i never saw silver get a blistering like this. Since the nut has no hallmark i suppouse it's no silver also. It bothers me that the latter looks kind of fresh, or at least in a better condition than counterplate and the cross itself. Also the "G" from the D.R.G.M. is not completely there.
The step surrounding the bead rim is in parts very shallow or very slim. There is a good Patina so in parts you need to search it with the fingernail to see that it is really there. Maybe it saw too much heavy polishing.
Ok, thank you for your opinions.
