Sorry if I come across as a braggart but I'd like to show off this exceptional cased Godet EK1.
A recognized Iron Cross expert on this forum as well as someone I consider as a friend even though we have never met, Trevor (Strptile) has this to say about it:
Your Godet is a real top-of-the-line, awarded EK1 from 1914-1918 in an early, real-leather case in great shape. It's got 100% paint and hasn't been hand vaulted as far as I can see. The mark is crisp and the core detail is perfect. The patina on the real silver frames is even and lovely. It doesn't get better for a 1914 EK1. You can quote me on that, and my description and enthusiasm.
