EK II in Glass Dome, A little something I put together.

After seeing an example posted by Klaus and for sale on his site, I decided that I could make something similar. The example was purchased and posted here by Greg M.
Greg was kind enough to share some of the dimension details with me. Since I purchase quality glass domes for some of my other projects and needed to order some, I ordered a couple of the smaller ones for this project.
This is the result of a weekend in my shop. I hope you like the finished product.

Nice job....here's another idea I was just thinking as I was looking at your work as food for thought and experimentation....stand up the wood holder to 90 degrees,do the cut outs all the way through , have a hook to hang it from , cover the wood as you have with the material, ,and have it so the medals both sides can be seen by just turning the base 180 degrees when in your showcase. Or ,You can find a cheap lighted base to put it on that slowly turns and changes color(cheap, and usually battery operated) . Its also great as it is, and I appreciate your workmanship , shop class does come in handy later in life.
