    Iron Harvest

Not really a collection as such, more of a still life terariam. All the extra WW1 EKs I get find there way into this, as do WW1 Grenades etc.

I still have a lot of WW1 schrapnel fo clean up and add and maybe a few medal bars, but am more likely to just put single EKs in. I find it a nice way to fill up some shelf space.... kinda like modern art.

"Iron Harvest" What a great concept ... impressive work ...very symbolic when one considers the REAL cost of an EK.

To use the military expression ... "Well done that man!"

Great Much better than a bunch of EK's in neat rows. One question, though. What's this?

I dont touch the live stuff, I get the wife to do that.
I would only seriously touch a hand grenade if it was one I knew. already fired of shells are not that scary to move, but to scary to try twisting of fuses or taking home.

See the "dead men" thread in the kneipe... me, Frosch and Eric were in the land of UXBs last weekend,

CHRIS, IT'S A GOOD THING YOU MARRIED TO A BOMB SPECIALIST! SERIOUSLY THOUGH, WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE LIVE STUFF? SOME OF THOSE SHELL COULD CONTAIN CHEMICALS ALSO. DO YOU USE A METAL DETECTOR? I REMEMBER READING ABOUT A BOMB SQUAD IN EUROPE THAT WAS ON CALL JUST FOR THESE THINGS, WHEN THEY GET A NICE LITTLE PILE THEY BLOW THEM UP THEN. CAN YOU TELL US ANYMORE ABOUT THIS STUFF? CHRIS

                          I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.
