    EKIs w/Disc and Double-post Screwback

Here for viewing are two convex/vaulted EKIs from my collection which have screwback fasteners: one a disc and the other with double-posts. There are no maker markings.

It is my understanding that an astonishing variety of custom fittings/attachment devices were produced; and that while flat crosses used the pin attachment, vaulted crosses were mostly private purchase examples.

Thanks for looking. All comments welcome.

A nice pair of crosses John

Anyone have any thoughts on the possible makers?

Thank you VERY much, Greg. I had totally forgotten that I posted these same two crosses back in early 2011 and really should have checked (getting old is fun, but being old is not...especially when the memory begins to fade!). Your reference link to my earlier posting and the excellent feedback comments received on them at that time is greatly appreciated.

              Best regards,

              John

My Victoria cross was one of my first. I've always been
puzzled by the "Victoria" makers mark. I guess mainly
because it's such a British name.
