    1914 Wiederholungsspange

    Hello All,

This one sold yesterday on ebay (US$227), I had been watching it but didn't bid as I know practically zilch about these. The detail looks very good on this compared to others found frequently on ebay.
I am just wondering though, did someone get a great deal or have they been ripped off with a fake?

    and the pictures for posterity.

              Thank you Trevor.
After looking up some old threads on these I see what you mean.
I had forgotten the 'cats paw' reference!

              Regards - Danny

                Same opinion here!

But maybe as a nice placeholder, if you can get it for 30 Euros

It's a real shame that these turned out to be fake.
The detail and workmanship on them is excellent.

                    I agree Greg.
That is the reason I have left my one in place -
it's as close as I will ever get to the real thing.
