PlM on Ebay - what are your thoughts on this?

I see a PlM on ebay. I can't seem to find any crosses of this style in any reference. Anyone want to tell me what this is? Is this a Spanish copy? The box is definitely not real. I am not too sure about the ribbon either.

i dont agree with the story and i believe it is just an all around fake !!!

That type is known as the "Spanish Fake," and it's a postwar copy all right. About 70 years postwar.

Hi Trevors right it is a spanish fake there are threads here on it . They don't sell for that much . I sent him a message and told him it was not a original like he says but a modern copy. Cliff

He is right about one thing - it IS post WWI!!! Sure does not look like anything by Wagner und Sohne though. I also see that it was posted last week with a lower buy it now price that what he is trying to get out of it now.

Has anyone actually ever seen a genuine plm on ebay. I'm pretty sure no one has, but can anyone surprise me?

I've never seen an award piece, but I've seen a couple of pre-45 copies that some might consider "genuine but not original." In fact a member here had one up recently.
