Reuss silver merit medal with swords in the simple black case. There was also a more expensive red case. I don't know if this was the issue case or a private purchase piece, but they are quite common, so I assume they were standard issue.

Does anyone have a nice piece of original ribbon to go with it?

I love the Reuss Awards, but sadly no ribbon as both mine are on medal bars.
