Naval Observer Badge

Came across this one- I think its a good "Square Punch" Observer Badge but would like to hear your opinions on it. All opinions are appreciated. Sorry about quality of pics- for now only 2 I have.

I agree with you about the maker. Hinge and pin are different. Can you provide better pictures.

The fact that the hinge and pin set up/style are different rings alarm bells with me,details look a little ' soft' to me too. Extreme caution required !!

I agree with you Fergus but the pictures are to bad to make a definite decision. I see diferent hinges and pins combination for this square punch badges but not one like this.

We need better pictures.

The detail on this makers badges are normally very good, on the one in question the crown (especially the top orb and cross) seem a little dull and undefined,I attach example of this makers crown detail on seeflieger badge.Ferg

Much better pics. I like what I see.
For me it looks good and the details are related to the square punch
Badges except the hinge. I can't say if this is replaced or not.
The other possibility is another maker.
