In Gebauer's Die Orden und Ehrenzeichen von Sachsen, we can found number of award :

the silver medal, 1st model : 927 awards,
the bronze medal, 2nd model : 865 awards.

These number are in agreement with what I have found on http://www.herzovision.de/sachsens-o...901/index.html
