    PlM w/Oaks on Detlev Site-Eww

Eww, as in WOW! Some of you guys have been looking for a PlM. Well here's the best of the best gentlemen. No excuses, no wearer's copy, no mid-20's, no mid 30's. This is the second nicest I've ever seen!

687 PlM's awarded WWI. 105 Oakleaves to the Army.

I hope Detlev doesn't mind me using his photo, I've scaled it down dramatically to keep its usefullness to a minimum to the wrong elements. If this needs to be removed, let me know please. Apologies in advance, this is just such a special offering!

    No whose is it?

"The PLM was awarded to the of a Guard regiment in 1917 for his bravery at "Verdun" and the oakleaves in 1918 during the "Battle of France""

Approx. 50 oaks to Army in 1918 (less one I know whose PlM this is not.)

    "...Guard regiment in 1917..."

    THREE POSSIBILITIES!

Even if you don't buy it, don't you appreciate it? The last of Prussia's highest award with its highest grade.

Brian, I know what a PlM is but what is the small black and white ribbon? I would like to know.

            Thanks,

Not JUST, it's the PlM w/OAKS attachment. Luckily my grandfather had a few lapel pieces. Remember, distinguishing this ribbon is the third stripe!
